Wayne Clarkson Managing Director Born and raised in Geraldton, Wayne commenced his Insurance career working for Royal Insurance which was then taken over by Wesfarmers. After an exciting beginning working in the General Insurance Division, and the odd sojourn with the rural guys at the cattle sales, Wayne was then seconded to the newly formed Life and Risk Division of Wesfarmers. After a period of some 10 years at Wesfarmers, Wayne decided to "go out on his own". The evolution of Great Western Insurance Brokers continued from a humble beginnings to the successful business it is today, supporting the local community in business and recreational activities. Great Western Insurance Brokers is proudly the only locally owned Insurance Brokerage in Geraldton.
Mark Houston Senior Account Manager Mark started his career in the Insurance industry in 1999 and found his way into Great Western Insurance Brokers in 2011. Having lived and worked in the industry in Lake Grace, Northam, and Perth before coming to Geraldton, Mark has garnered a diverse knowledge and understanding of the insurance needs within the local community. Mark enjoys the Midwest lifestyle and very much looks forward to settling into and further developing his business relationships within the Midwest community.
Jordan Clarkson Account Manager Jordan began her full-time insurance career with Great Western in 2013, after graduating from University. Her profession has taken her to other parts of Australia and the UK in that time. After a period travelling the world, Jordan re-joined Great Western Insurance Brokers as an Account Manager in 2020. Born and raised in Geraldton, Jordan is keen to use her lifelong association with Great Western and the Insurance industry to provide quality service to customers.
